By mtnfootball.com

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has hailed the decision of the Ayew brothers- Andre and Jordan-to terminate their national team temporary retirement.

The Olympique Marseille duo announced their return to the Black Stars on Tuesday after a meeting with Ghana President John Mahama in Accra.

Also present were the Sports Ministry and Ghana FA Vice-President  Fred Crentsil.

Andre and Jordan will be available for selection for Ghana's next assignment and the final 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia at home in September this year.

Gyan, who also took a temporary break from the national team after the 2012 Nations Cup but returned after six months, is raving about their u-turn.

"I feel that talking about the Ghanaian team, unity counts a lot, we are happy for the Ayew brothers," Gyan is quoted by radioxyzonline.

"They have played in the team before and only went for a break so we are happy to see them back.
