“Am not desperate to win the super cup”----Bashiru Hayford


Coach of the defending champions of the Ghana premier league, Bashiru Hayford has mentioned he is eager to win the 2015/2016 GFA super cup.He however noted he is not desperate.
The former Asante Kotoko coach said his team is ready to win the game slated for Sunday 7th February ahead of their first-leg CAF Champions league game against MO Béjaïa of Algeria on valentine’s day.

Bashiru Hayford guided the Miners to win their first league title after over two decades since they last won it in 1994 as Gold Fields.
Speaking to the media at the press conference organized to publicize the game on Sunday, the outspoken coach says, his team spirit is very good and very eager to win the game against one of the difficult sides in the Ghana premier league.
“I think this game will boost the morale of the players, management and the supporters if we managed to win this trophy. So I will say am eager to win this trophy but not desperate because it’s a good opportunity to make the people who are running the club happy”-----Bashiru Hayford.
He also spoke about defending the premier league title that they won last season but believes they will try to win any trophy that will come their way when the season kick start in a fortnight
