Former
Ghana U-20 World Cup winning squad member Ransford Osei tops the list
of four players who will no longer don the red jersey of the porcupine
warriors, effective the second round of the season, Footy-ghana.com understands.
The
Ghanaian champions are looking to free up space and cut down
expenditure by releasing some of their players who have struggled to
make the first team so far this season as they prepare to beef up before the December 11 transfer window deadline.
Ex-Black Starlets goal poacher Ransford Osei who joined Kotoko in a one-and-a-half year contract expiring December 2013 will not have his stay extended.
Winger Richard Osei whose progress has been disrupted by injuries
has been put transfer-listed while an agreement has been reached for
centre-back Kofi Agyare to join 2014 Confederation campaigners Medeama
SC when the first round of the Ghana Premier League ends on December 15.
Footy-ghana.com also gathers that Michael Mensah and Godfred Asante are set to be loaned out for more playing time.
Right
back Akwasi Bobie Ansah who has seen limited playing time since his
role in the match-day2 win over arch rivals Hearts of Oak has been
considered for a stay as he could be a late addition to the Africa
squad. by footy-Ghana
