Real Athlectico FC has emerged as the sole qualifier from the Greater Accra Regional Football Association to participate in the Division One league.
Real Athlectico FC were crowned champions of the Greater Accra Division 2 league after beating Charity Stars 3-2 on penalties when their playoff decider match ended 0-0 during regulation time in the Middle League for the six zonal champions. The two teams were the joint top teams on the head to head rule after the five rounds of matches. Thus, Real Athlectico beat off competition from Dawhenya United, Newtown Youth, Charity Stars, FC Nima and Dreams FC gain promotion to Division One.
